Issue 10.2 of Prompt: A Journal of Academic Writing Assignments is now published.
This special issue, guest-edited by Aimee Mapes and Emily Jo Schwaller, features the Writing Across the Curriculum program at the University of Arizona. Titled "Writing To/With the Real World in the Southwest," the issue includes an introductory piece overviewing the U of A program and features five submissions highlighting the program’s focus on inclusive writing instruction across a range of disciplines.
This issue’s co-editors’ note also acknowledges our concern and dismay regarding NCTE’s decision to de-charter CCCC. We are grateful to other journals and organizations who have expressed their desire to carry on the important pedagogical, scholarly, and political work of the field, and we will stand with them in efforts to chart a new future for composition and writing studies.
