New: The WAC Clearinghouse Announces a New Exhibit

Dear Colleagues,

The WAC Clearinghouse is thrilled to share a new exhibit in the WAC Repository: The Composition Studies Documentarian Exhibit, edited by Adrienne Jankens and Jennifer Grouling.

The exhibit collects stories and reflections from conference “Documentarians,” attendees who purposefully record and reflect on their experiences participating in the field of composition studies. The inaugural 2025 exhibit features nine Documentarian tales exploring themes including community, friendship, academic identity, labor, and the passage of time. Together, these materials offer a rich look at conference participation and the varied ways scholars experience professional spaces and communities.

The exhibit is also designed to grow over time, creating a publicly accessible archive for research into conference experiences, professionalization, labor, community, and participation across composition studies.
