I hope your semester has ended well and that your summer is off to a relaxing and rewarding start.
The Middle East–North Africa Writing Centers Alliance (MENAWCA) invites proposals for its 10th Biennial Conference, hosted by AUB Mediterraneo in Paphos, Cyprus, in Spring 2027.
This year’s theme, Humans Helping Humans: Writing Center Support across Communities, explores how writing centers and composition professionals support student writers across disciplines, languages, cultures, and moments of change. We welcome presentations, workshops, roundtables, posters, and other innovative formats addressing writing centers, writing programs, WAC/WID, multilingual writing, AI, student belonging, and emerging challenges in writing education.
Proposal deadline: October 15, 2026
