Hi all,
Please join us on October 17 for the first Hood College Conference on Interdisciplinary Dialogues in Education in Frederick, MD. This year we have 10 presentations on a variety of topics including teaching and learning techniques for instilling values, anti-racism ideology, policy analysis, exploration of adult learning, community writing partnerships and more! Our presenters come from a variety of backgrounds and are bringing with them experiences from other colleges and universities across Maryland.
Registration for this one-day event will include opening remarks, breakfast, three sessions of presentations to choose from, lunch, a Keynote address from Cheryl North, Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a social/happy hour for all faculty/staff/graduate student attendees to complete our day! The cost to register is as follows:
Faculty/Staff/Community (other): $80
Hood Faculty/Staff: $50
Students: $40
