Hello all,
I’m writing to share information about a virtual information session for the M.A. and Ph.D. programs at the University of Arkansas, which will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2027, at 5 pm CST.
The event will cover the structure/timeline of both the M.A. and Ph.D. graduate programs (with area specializations in both literature and rhetoric and composition), as well as helpful information about the application process, program benefits, fellowship opportunities, and teaching assistantships. At least one faculty representative from Rhetoric and Composition will also be available to answer questions and chat about our area! If interested in attending this information session, please use this link to RSVP.
We thank you for sharing this information with students interested in graduate study in English! If you have questions about the UARK graduate programs, please feel free to reach out to our Director of Graduate Studies, Dr. Lissette Szwydky at lissette or myself at mbfern.
Warmly,
Maggie
