Dear Colleagues,
We’re pleased to share the newest collection from TextGenEd: Continuing Experiments, now available in the WAC Repository.
Edited by Carly Schnitzler, Annette Vee, and Tim Laquintano, Continuing Experiments offers an evolving collection of open-access assignments that explore how instructors across disciplines are responding to text generation technologies in their teaching. Building on TextGenEd: Teaching with Text Generation Technologies, the project recognizes that teaching with rapidly changing technologies requires ongoing experimentation, revision, and collaboration.
The August 2026 collection brings together 15 new assignments exploring AI literacy, creative experimentation, ethical questions, professional writing, and rhetorical engagement. Taken together, they offer concrete, adaptable approaches to helping students think critically about what generative AI can—and cannot—contribute to writing, research, and learning.

We hope you’ll explore the collection, share it with colleagues, and adapt these experiments for your own classrooms.
Best,
