Dear colleagues,
My name is Nora Webb, and I am a doctoral candidate in English at UNC Greensboro. I am conducting dissertation research on how individuals in writing studies and related fields receive, negotiate, and internalize appearance advice as they navigate new professional roles. Please consider completing my survey about your experiences receiving appearance advice: the comments, guidance, and examples that have shaped how you think about professional dress and presentation.
The survey takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes and participation is entirely voluntary. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to complete a separate contact form if you’re interested in an interview. This contact form is not linked to your survey responses. The first 30 participants who complete the survey and schedule their interview will receive a $10 Visa gift card as a thank-you.
