Dear Colleagues,
The Revista Latinoamericana de Estudios de la Escritura (RLEE) invites submissions in English, Spanish, or Portuguese for Volume 4, Issue 7, scheduled for publication during the first half of 2027. RLEE is an international, multilingual, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that seeks to bring Latin American perspectives to broader audiences and to make international research on writing from a range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields more accessible to readers across the region. The journal welcomes unpublished original empirical research articles of up to 8,500 words, as well as reviews of up to 2,000 words of books published within the past three years.
RLEE publishes research on writing practices and processes across educational and non-educational contexts and welcomes diverse methodological approaches. Areas of interest include the development, teaching, and learning of writing; social functions of writing; vernacular, educational, disciplinary, and professional literacies; written genres; academic and non-academic writing; writing across the curriculum; writing program administration; and technological transformations in the production, teaching, circulation, and reception of texts, including generative AI, automated assessment, authorship, academic integrity, and digital and multimodal composition.
Manuscripts can be submitted through the journal’s platform:https://wac.colostate.edu/rlee/submissions
Although submissions are accepted throughout the year, authors are encouraged to submit:
- by December 15, 2026, for priority consideration, and
- by March 1, 2027, at the latest to be considered for Issue 7
