She is also the recently elected Assistant Chair of the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC).

For over four decades, our conference has invited secondary and post-secondary teachers from the Hampton Roads area and beyond to come together on ODU’s Norfolk Campus during the spring semester. This year’s theme, Writing at the Crossroads: Navigating Labor, Disciplinarity, and Equity in Teaching Writing focuses on exploring the intersection of professionalization and the practical challenges faced by writing teachers.
Our call for proposals remains open for submissions through January 19. You can find the CFP on our website https://sites.wp.odu.edu/writingconference/
