If you’re attending CCCC this week, don’t forget to join us for the National Archives of Composition and Rhetoric (NACR) Special Interest Group
Thursday March 5, 2026 6:30-7:30 pm
Location: Exhibit Hall Level C2, Room 9
For everyone interested in archival scholarship, archival pedagogy, and archival creation!
If you want to learn more about the new work of the NACR, make a contribution to it, or share information on rhet-comp archives you are connected to, please come to the NACR SIG at the CCCCs! The making and saving of our histories is a project for all generations. Archives are for everyone!
We will:
- Honor the legacy of Bob Schwegler, co-founder of the NACR.
- Share updates on the current status and work of the NACR.
- Brainstorm ways to strengthen and support archival work in this period of diminished resources and outright efforts to re-write or erase histories.
- Invite participation from archival researchers, founders, and CCCC participants who are archive-curious to build a network of archival projects across the country in all areas of rhetoric and writing studies.
Looking forward to seeing you in person or feel free to write to us!
