Read the Call and Submit a Proposal The #4C27 theme, Design Writing Futures, offers a disciplinary opportunity to reclaim or lean into imagination. It calls our community to use our disciplinary expertise—in rhetorical criticism, multimodal composing, community engagement, language justice, writing program administration, and design thinking—to craft futures that are more inclusive, more just, and more imaginative than the ones currently projected for us. In doing so, we are invited to refuse despair, to cultivate foresight, and to participate actively in shaping the worlds that writing makes possible. Proposal coaching is available. To request coaching, please submit your draft proposal and then contact CCCCevents with your request by Monday, May 4. |
