Dear all,
I hope you are well! My name is Prakash Paudel, and I am writing with an exciting invitation to participate in our research study, “A Transnational Critical Rhetorical Examination of the Embodied Health Technologies: Cases of Wearing Smartwatches.”
We are conducting this study to learn about transnational users’ responses to health information delivered via smartwatches and their notification systems. Your participation in this study will help us understand how people react to health information delivered via smartwatch notifications.
The study survey poses questions about your experience of wearing smartwatches.
The survey will take between 8 – 10 minutes to complete.
The final survey question asks about interest in participating in a one-time individual interview. Individual interviews will range between 45-60 minutes.
If you are currently, or have been, living in the United States or Nepal, wear any kind of smartwatch and are at least 18 years old, you are eligible to participate. Survey and interview participation is voluntary.
Please feel free to circulate and share the study information and survey link with friends and colleagues of yours who wear smartwatches.
The survey can be accessed here.
You are welcome and encouraged to reach out to me (prakash.paudel) or my supervisor Melissa Nicolas (melissa.nicolas ) with any questions about the study or participation.
Best,
Prakash Paudel
