Dear Writing Center Colleagues,
We are reaching out on behalf of the Howe Writing Center at Miami University of Ohio to inquire about any writing centers which have offered and/or are currently offering "undergraduate writing hours." We define "undergraduate writing hours" as any form of regularly scheduled dedicated writing time for undergraduate students which is hosted and scaffolded by the writing center. The Howe currently hosts successful graduate writing hours and faculty writing hours, but we have so far been unable to generate the same level of interest in our undergraduate population.
If you’ve had and/or currently have success with a program like this, we would like to hear from you! We’re hoping to conduct short conversations with writing center directors and administrators over Zoom concerning this matter. Please fill out this Qualtrics form to indicate your interest.
