Conference Theme: Writing Together: Collaboration, Coalition, and Community
Our themebuilds upon work of previous conferences to consider not only how collaboration fosters wellbeing, but also to consider how prioritizing wellbeing can help strengthen communities. Our CFP invites participants to consider the ways in which collaboration, coalition, and community intersect with their work in writing and wellbeing.

About the Conference Location: The conference will be held on campus at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. For those not in the know, Chattanooga, nicknamed “The Scenic City,” is a mid-size city with a vibrant downtown and riverfront. Nestled between the foothills of southern Appalachia and the Cumberland Plateau, Chattanooga has amazing views, a plethora of outdoor activities, and a thriving foodie scene. Chattanooga is located on the southeast corner of Tennessee—situated 2 hours from Nashville, Atlanta, Knoxville, and Huntsville. Attendees can fly directly into the Chattanooga Airport or fly into Nashville or Atlanta and take a Groome shuttle to Chattanooga.
