As one of the founding editors of the Journal of Undergraduate Research in the Humanities (JURH), I am pleased to announce that we are seeking Special Issue Editors to propose and edit an issue in Summer 2027.
Guest Editors can be graduate students, staff, or faculty from any 2- or 4-year institution in the United States or around the world. (Note that we will also consider undergraduate editors as long as they have a committed faculty or staff member to support them through the process. Faculty or staff member should be named on the application.)
Issues should be themed and feature undergraduate work. Occasionally, however, the themed issue can feature work from other writing populations. For instance, our themed second issue features the work of high school researchers and also includes a round table discussion between high school educators.
All prospective editors should send proposals and bios and/or CVs in an email attachment to Dr. Lara Karpenko at lkarpenk by November 1, 2026.
