The Online Writing Centers Association (OWCA) is excited to invite proposals for its sixth virtual conference. We encourage all writing center folk to participate, including writing center professionals, graduate students, and undergraduate peer tutors.
Please see a short description of the conference theme, “Centering Collaboration,” below and click here to read the full CFP and details. You can submit proposals to this Google Form.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to OWCA’s Conference Chair Dr. Bri Lafond (brilafond) and Conference Co-Chair Dr. Anwita Ghosh (aghosh370).
OWCA’s 2027 conference will explore the theme of “Centering Collaboration” in its many forms: between tutors and writers, in writing center administration and professional development, across campus partnerships, and across international borders. By placing collaboration at the heart of this year’s conference, OWCA invites the broader writing center community to share their experiences, perspectives, and practices. Together, we hope to examine how collaboration sustains our work, creates opportunities for innovation, and strengthens our collective efforts to advocate for the value of writing centers and the people who make them possible.
