The Global Society for Online Literacy Educators (GSOLE) is happy to announce a call for two new awards that celebrate important work in online literacy instruction, research, and support.
1) The Beth Hewett Dissertation Award ($500) honors the work of a graduate student who is contributing to the field of OWI and writing instruction through scholarly inquiry.
- We invite graduate students whose dissertation has been signed off by their committee in the last 3 years to apply with supporting materials by November 3, 2025.

2) The Scott Warnock Practitioner Award ($500) celebrates outstanding teaching and learning support in the field of Online Writing Instruction (i.e., instructors, tutors, staff members, educational developers). This award seeks to make visible the best practices in OWI and to honor those who work to improve the lives of students in their classes across modalities.
